What is shown here
These pieces represent a range of approaches across the studio's current work — from larger-scale prints and bound editions to smaller experimental pieces. They're organized not by theme or chronology, but by what each one taught us, what material or technique it introduced, and how it sits within the wider conversation about textiles, surface design, and how visual thinking translates across media.
Every piece here started as a question: how do we push this technique further? What happens if we layer this material differently? Can we take what we learned from printmaking and apply it to something bound and dimensional? That's the frame we're using to show them.
How each was chosen

Every time we see a piece from Bookwork Journal on display, we notice something we didn't catch before — a detail in the layering, a choice in the paper that changes how the whole thing reads. That's what separates a solid print from work that stays with you.
